Short description

This panel will show and present new data concerning paleoanthropology and funerary practices in Southeast Asia. Regional research continues to make available new evidence of ritual and cultural specificities in the continental area and the archipelago. Focusing on the oldest periods (from the Paleolithic to the Metal Age), participants will present and discuss new studies or discoveries or particular cases of fossils and/or human remains.
This panel aims to present and discuss trans-chronological anthropological data in a cultural and environmental evolutionary point of view.
