Short description

We are used to seeing inscriptions on stelaes or on the beautiful Angkorian temples, most of the time on their doorjambs. But those stones are not the only materials that present inscriptions; a lot of various objects can also host some lines, from the most common to the most unexpected. The variety of these objects is a first point of interest, and the nature of the text written on them is another, causing one to wonder about the status of the link between the text and the object that hosts it. This sub-panel tries to highlight the relationships between text and object, and explore how each can shed light on the other.
